There isn’t a photographer in the world that doesn’t have some deep, philosophical take on the work. Maybe I’m the same, but I’ll spare you the poetry. Let me just say that when I shoot, there’s nothing else in my head but giving the shot the most impact it can have. There’s joy in that. Even better, there’s the pleasure of delivering something more to a client or a subject. The real satisfaction comes twice; when I see the image I wanted realized, and when the work surprises the client in the right way, when he or she says, “Wow! Great job!”
